  • 0

Connecting a domain to your WordPress website is an essential step in making your site accessible online. Whether you purchased a domain from your hosting provider or a third-party registrar, follow these steps to connect it properly.

Nameservers tell your domain where to point when someone visits your website.

Step 1: Get Your Hosting Nameservers

For Domains Purchased with WP Hosting Hub

No setup is required! Your domain is already linked to your hosting account.

✅ You can access your website immediately after installation.

✅ To manage your domain settings, log in to your Client Area:

For Domains Purchased from Another Registrar

If your domain is registered with GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, or another provider, you need to update your nameservers.

1. Get Your Hosting Nameservers

1. Log into your Client Area at wphostinghub.com.

2.Look at the left sidebar, where you will find your Nameservers listed.

3. Copy the nameservers:

ns1.wphostinghub.com
ns2.wphostinghub.com

Step 2: Update Nameservers at Your Domain Registrar

1. Log into your domain registrar’s account (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).

2. Go to Domain Management > DNS Settings.

3.Find the Nameservers section.

4.Replace the existing nameservers with the ones from WP Hosting Hub.

5. Click Save or Update.

It may take 24-48 hours for DNS changes to propagate.

Step 3: Verify the Connection

1.Open a web browser and enter your domain (yourdomain.com).

2.If your website loads successfully, the domain is connected.

3.If you see a DNS error, wait a few hours and clear your browser cache.

Final Steps

Log into WordPress at yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

Set up Site URLs in WordPress Admin > Settings > General.

✅ Install essential plugins like SEO, security, and caching.

???? That’s it! Your domain is now connected to your WordPress site. ????
